I’m in the middle of organizing my home office and bedroom vanity at the same time, they have been chaotic for months. The home office is actually a bigger project, Mark and I are setting up a very nice and decent space to work on our projects. I have the feeling that I need to add a very girly something in one of those spaces, or both… Also, Winter in Montreal last Foreeeeever and I like to keep pops of colour, joy and life here and there, you know, kind of to keep the spirit up.
Did I mentioned I was organizing? not just organizing, but decluttering and giving away and throwing out tons of stuff… That’s when I found a cardboard letter J, it wasn’t in great shape, it once was cover in washi tape, but I never liked how it looked, so it went to the back of the junk closet. Anyway, fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, I was at Michael’s, and saw that the faux flowers where on sale (because all fall season items needed some space in the shelves). That’s when I heard bells in my head.
I didn’t have floral foam bricks, but didn’t look for them either, because for some reason I had more than enough styrofoam balls of all sizes at home… And guess what, they made the perfect filling for the empty cardboard letter. so, all the things I used were:
- Cardboard Letter
- Spray Paint
- Styrofoam balls
- Faux Flowers
- Hot glue gun
