Hi there! Thank you for stoping by. Aren’t these Doughnut cookies cute? Something I’ve learned is that the cutest things usually are things that look like something they are not, makes sense? Perfect example, these are cookies that look like doughnuts (something they’re not), or take for instance any cake that recreates any other shape, or cake pops, when I make those be something else they’re usually a hit!
I have no idea (yet) of how to make doughnuts, but sugar cookies? I make those pretty often. Looking for an easy way to look like a baker, give something to talk about to your guests or make your kids party be amazing? These are your solution they’re tasty like any other cookie, but are so cute that double as decor.
To make them, just use a big round cookie cutter and then to cut out the inside I actually used the back of a decorating tip, those are wide but still smaller than any cookie cutter I had around. Proceed to bake for around 13minutes, just until they’re slightly tan, let them cool and proceed to decor. Pink royal icing, melted chocolate and sprinkles! And voilà, your cookies are ready to party, or well, be eaten (not without taking a photo first of course).
